Night street dance scene with a joyful person in a yellow top in motion

My abuela danced Palo. Through SANCTUARIO, I continue that legacy with movement and music rooted in Dominican rhythms and the wider Afro-diaspora.

MOR Studio draws from traditions across Quisqueya, the Dominican Republic and Haiti, as well as Afro-Cuban, Afro-Caribbean, Jamaican, and Brazilian forms. Music is the conduit, carrying rhythmic memory and shared history into presence, connection, and simply being.

Music
